There are two main ways to use a scrub. You can either use the scrub dry before you get into the shower or you can use the scrub after you have already cleansed yourself and are still in the shower. The residue is rinsed off as the product is used. The skin is patted dry afterwards to allow any protectives oils remaining to seal in the moisture.
